Vision & Mission
TCC is a division of Novellas International and has its origin in the activities of the training department of Dedevan, for whom we have been providing trainings since 2005 (see Links: affiliated companies).
Our mission:
TCC is committed to consistently provide our customers with the most relevant, innovative, high quality, practice based and efficient trainings and/or coaching in the field of clinical R&D.
In doing so, our objective is twofold:
On the one hand we aim to support pharma and medical device manufacturers, their service providers and publicly funded research groups and organisations in their continuous endeavour to perform high quality clinical research in the highly competitive area of clinical R&D.
On the other hand, we want to help aspiring and established clinical research professionals in the private and public sector in their strive to acquire (further) skills and competences.
In summary, our mission is to contribute to the continious development of organisations as well as individuals involved in clinical R&D activities so that both can reach their goals.
Our vision on training:
Our courses have been developed based on our trainers’ combined theoretic knowledge, vast hands-on experience in the different aspects of clinical R&D and their drive and dedication to this area.
Participants to clinical R&D training courses find it sometimes challenging to rapidly translate the theoretical knowledge (concepts, rules and definitions) into operational readiness in a very demanding professional environment.
In order to overcome this, TCC has developed detailed simulations of complete clinical trials as the basis for all of its courses. All exercises during our courses are based on these mock study protocols that are used throughout the course to facilitate the translation of the theory of clinical R&D into practice.
Furthermore, in order to ensure the interactivity of our courses, all our trainings are being taught in small groups of no more than 8 people, starting from the individual background and expectations of our participants. Course participants are also expected to do “homework” in preparation of the course. Finally, every course can be combined with modules on “soft skills” to ensure that course participants have the people and communication skills needed to successfully use the theoretic knowledge and practical experience acquired during the course in their day to day professional activities.
Our vision on coaching:
For us, coaching is about facilitating - through the assistance of someone who will challenge, stimulate and guide individuals and teams to keep growing individually or collectively - the discovery of one’s talents, the expansion of one’s self-awareness so that - based on this knowledge- one can make conscious choices and act accordingly.
In TCC, we see coaching as a dynamic process, consisting of 4 phases:.
- Goal: Defining the situation/state one wants to achieve
- Reality check: comparing the desired state with the current state
- Options: Identifying methods and approaches to solve the discrepancy
- Willingness: Defining and adhering to an action plan and monitoring its outcome
We will always do this with the utmost discretion, and only provide feedback to the customer requesting/commissioning the coaching of individual(s) or teams on the progress of the coachee(s) in the development of those competencies that were originally agreed on with the customer
The frequency and the duration of an individual or team coaching can vary based on the process used and the expectations and wishes of the coachee(s) and/or the third party commissioning the coaching.
