On-the-job Coaching
Clinical research has undergone significant changes in the past years. One of the major changes is the continuously increasing workload and responsibilities of staff working in this area.
As a consequence, companies may not always have sufficient resources to optimally coach their clinical research staff in their daily activities.
In order to address this unmet need, the Clinical College offers on-the-job coaching by very experienced staff in the various aspects of clinical operations (medical devices and pharmaceutical) and people management.
The goal of on-the-job coaching of clinical research professionals is mainly to help the requester in optimizing and enhancing the preparation and performance of specific clinical research activities, such as:
- conduct of feasibilities (selection of institution, feasibility questionnaire…)
- conduct of visits (site selection, initiation, monitoring, motivation, close out)
- project Management (from phase II to IV) – start-up (protocol writing, CRF creation & validation, vendor selection & validation, feasibility, recruitment strategies, contract negotiations…), during study (study, site & team management…) and closing the study
- people management (working with underperformers, matrix structure…)
