Team Development

Our team coaching is designed to help teams working in clinical research to develop themselves, taking into account that a team is a living system with spoken and unspoken rules, individual expectations and visions, disappointments, moods and a personal spirit that all impact the performance of individual team members as well as the collective performance of the entire group.

In line with our above-mentioned overall approach to coaching, team coaching usually involves:

  • a conversation with the leader/manager and key members of the team to determine the fit of the coaching relationship.
  • a detailed diagnostic of the issues based on one or several workshops and/or confidential, off-line feedback from and discussion with individual team members
  • the development of an action plan to tackle these challenges
  • follow-up coaching sessions (either face to face or via teleconference) in line with the development plan

Here too, the frequency and the duration of team coaching can vary based on the process used and the expectations and wishes of the team and/or the third party commissioning the coaching of that team.
