The Clinical College obtained European Qfor quality label

The Clinical College is very proud to have obtained the European Qfor label that guarantees professionalism of training providers and consultancy firms.

The Qfor label was obtained by The Clinical College after a positive 'ProcessScan' audit. 

How did it work?
The Clinical College was evaluated on 25 key indicators (business processes and resources needed as a training center), defined as having most influence on the Quality and Results of the Activities of Training Institutes and Consultancy Firms.  Examples: structure of the company, creation method of new trainings, experience of the trainers, logistic activities related to the trainings, quality maintenance and improvement (including evaluation of the services and the trainers), ….

The 25 Criteria and the subcriteria are split up in four categories:
1. EXECUTION OF PROJECTS (Information and communication; Project management; Evaluation and Follow-up)
2. HUMAN RESOURCES: EMPLOYEES AND SUBCONTRACTORS (Recruiting, selection and integration; Management and Follow up of Competencies and Experience; Evaluation system and Follow-up; Continuous Education, coaching and refresher courses; Collaboration Agreements)
3. RESOURCES (Equipment and documentation; Infrastrucure and Accommodation)
4. ORGANISATION (Internal Organisation and Communication; Quality maintenance and improvement)

Next to Clinical Research Related courses The Clinical College offers several Medical Trainings.

The following courses are available:
- Introduction to Oncology – This training is intended to provide healthcare professionals (clinical research staff and sales / marketing staff) an in depth knowledge of oncology. Please refer to the course description for more details. This course can be followed by additional courses focusing on specific therapeutic fields. Click here vor more details.
- Introduction to ECG – Electrocardiograms have become a standard examinations in clinical studies. Course attendants will understand the basic principles of the electric conduct of the heart, the Pathophysiological indications of ECG and the possible side effects of medication (Q-T prolongation). - Atherosclerosis / Atherothrombosis – Recent years, significant progress has been made in the treatment of Atherosclerosis / Atherothrombosis. As a consequence, an increased need on training has determined. Course attendees will be given insight in the definition, pathogenisis, risk factors, diagnosis, prevention and treatment (medication / interventional treatments). Finally the impact on the public health will be discussed. Click here for more details.
- HIV en AIDS – Basic principles of the HIV / AIDS mechanism will be clarified by means of easy-to-understand schedules. Further insight will be given into the current therapeutic options and the ongoing investigational developments. Click here for more details.

New trainer at The Clinical College - Hilde Ampe

The Clinical College is happy to announce that Hilde Ampe joined the team of trainers. Hilde will take care of the personal skills courses.

Hilde has a broad experience in providing training and coaching to industries where interpersonal relationship are of primary importance. In addition, Hilde has lived many years outside Europe making her the ideal trainer for courses like ‘Managing Intercultural Differences’.

She has demonstrated to be very eager to understand the clinical research world, including attending several clinical research courses. As a consequence, the personal skills trainings will be very oriented towards this industry; with many clinical research focused exercises.
